Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Today's work environment demands that organizations place a laser focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The recognized value of diversity will drive a corporation's ability to adapt, innovate, and grow. Unfortunately, many organizations approach workforce diversity by meeting the minimum requirements for compliance and hardly focus on equity and inclusion. This must change.

As a human resources professional, I’ve championed the recruitment of Veterans via partnering to create a skills translation guide for hiring managers – highlighting the skills Veterans obtain in the military and how that correlates to the business operations. Additionally, I created a diversity training series – focusing on unconscious bias, identifying privilege, and steps to integrate diversity in business interactions and decisions.

Training & Development

Training and development is essential to the continued success of organizations and the growth of employees. Organizations need to optimize their training and development to sharpen existing employee skills, introduce new concepts, or improve the employee's performance.

Performance Management

It is imperative that organizations implement practices to continue the process of communication between managers and employees, with the mutual goal of accomplishing the strategic goals of the company. It is the foundation for employee performance and engagement in any organization that wants its employees to reach their maximum potential and boost their productivity and success.

In my career, I co-created a performance management process for a non-profit organization. Additionally, I created training content on explaining an established performance management process to leaders and content on how to deliver a performance review.

High Volume Recruitment

In a high-volume recruiting environment, the demand for talent is constant. When you’re dealing with thousands of candidates, even small delays and inefficiencies can add up to make a huge impact on the bottom line.

I have recruited for high volume and hard to fill roles in my career. Whether the role is for an entry-level Medical Assistant or skilled a Finance Director, I understand that post and praying is not a recruitment strategy and have created creative recruitment strategies to quickly fill vacancies.

Analytics & Scorecards

As organizations are now realizing that employees are their most critical infrastructure, it is more important than ever that you review key HR data sets to ensure efficiency and plan for the future of your workforce.

Open.png

I have implemented a dashboard of core HR key performance indicators (KPIs) to review and steer data-driven decisions. Additionally, I have measured Recruitment functions via a scorecard reviewing time to hire, interview to hire ratios, and candidate sources.
